Moran, Anna Gibson

Anna Elizabeth Gibson Moran, 85, of Radford, Va., passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018. She was born on August 19, 1933 to the late, Delmas Wilson and Ruby Lawton Gibson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernard Talmadge Moran; her daughter, Jean Lavern Moran; and her grandson, Matthew Talmadge Moran. She is survived by her son, Vern Moran; her granddaughter, Meredith (Brandon) Doss; and her great-grandchildren, Aidan and Addison Doss. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a long time and faithful member of the West Radford Church of God. The family would like to especially thank the nurses and staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for all their care and support during this time. A graveside service will be held at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018, with Pastors James Walker, Rod Hidalgo, and Danny Newman officiating. Interment will be at Sunrise Burial Park in Fairlawn. DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
