Moore, Stella Shelburne

Stella Shelburne Moore, 89, of Radford, passed on to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 5 , 2007.

Stella was retired from R.A.A.P. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Zettie Carroll and Wiley Ashby Shelburne; sister, Roxie Boothe; and daughter, Mary Jo Otey. Surviving are a sister, Nora Webster Vaughn; son ,Howard Eugene Moore; daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy May and Shirley Miller, Annie Sue and David Smith, Wanda Moore and Wayne Whittaker; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday July 7, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 8 ,2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rebecca Pennington Officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
