Moore, Lois Evelyn Dalton

Lois Evelyn Dalton Moore, age 96 of Draper, died Tuesday morning, April 1, 2014 at her residence. She was born on October 3, 1917 in Bland County, and was the daughter of the late Vinnie Dalton and Truman Dalton.

She was a retired seamstress, having worked in several local businesses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Shirley Morris, and her second husband, Lloyd Moore, along with her three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by two sons, and their wives, Wayne and Christine Morris of Draper, and Charles and Margaret Handy of Dublin. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev. Charles McPeak officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
