Joyce Eileen Cook Moore, 72, of Roanoke, Va., and formerly of Pulaski County, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 in the Salem Health & Rehab Center. Born October 24, 1937 in Draper, she was the daughter of the late Fred Sydney Cook and Minnie Ellen Jones Cook. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, George Walter Moore; son, Anthony Moore; brother, Richard Lee Cook; and sister, Helen Moore. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Wayne Sesler, of Massanutten, Va.; sons and daughters-in-law, George Donald and Carol Moore, of Roanoke, Stephen Lee and Helena Moore, of Suffolk, Barry Keith and Jane Saville, of Mocksville, N.C., and Garrett Anthony and Linda Moore, of Roanoke; six grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred Malasky, of Christiansburg, Shirley D. Thomas, of Pulaski, Betty and Herman Hill, of Pulaski, Jewell C. and Lawrence Hill, of Draper; and brother and sister-in-law, William S. and Elizabeth Cook, of Draper. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Kelly Howlett officiating.
