Mooers, Robert C.

Robert C. Mooers, 86, of Floyd, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at his home.

He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia E. Mooers; son and daughter in-law, Gary and Nancy Mooers; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dave Beran; four grandchildren and spouses, Sandy and Randall Harmon, Laura Quesenberry and Kevin Smith, David and Kay Beran, Jennifer and Willie Yates; nine great-grandchildren, Riley and Corey Harmon, Shea and Haley Quesenberry, Cody and Allie Beran, Abbey, Hannah and Karly Yates.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Jacksonville Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
