William Todd Montgomery, 51 of Christiansburg, VA departed this life to be with his Lord Saturday, January 23, 2021 under the care of Lewis Gale Medical Center-Montgomery. Born December 29, 1969, he was a son of Nolan Montgomery and the late Sandra Ratliff Montgomery.

Todd will be missed by so many as he was one of a kind, leaving a lot of love and memories with those he loved. Todd was most known for his laugh, and an outgoing personality. He showed his family unconditional love, and truly was a wonderful Dad and husband, ensuring his family’s needs were met and that they knew his heart held them first.

He was employed at Duncan Ford/Lincoln in Christiansburg, VA as a dedicated service writer. He went above and beyond to make his customers and co-workers top priorities.

He was an unashamed Christian, letting all know of his love for the Lord, and practiced his faith in faithful attendance at Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Todd is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Montgomery; his sister, Becky Vaught; grandparents, Charlie and Reba Montgomery, Clara Williams, and Ray Ratliff Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 24 years, Regina; a daughter, Chasity; his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Haley; his father and best friend, Nolan Montgomery; his Mother, Hilda Montgomery; two sisters, Rhonda Custer (Randy), and Lynn Montgomery; a special nephew, Jeffery Alan Martin (Stephanie); three nieces, Cydney, Katie, and Bailey Custer; four great nieces; four great nephews; an uncle Richard Williams of Pearisburg; two aunts, Debbie Williams and Caroline Wallace and numerous cousins. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Elisha, and Cheryl (Randy White); a brother-in-law Walter Tolley Jr; nieces, Ashley Bower (Jeremy), Miranda White, Courtney Tolley, and Whitney Tolley; 3 great nieces; 3 great nephews; a special friend, Lee Sarver; childhood friend who was much like a brother, Tony Cook; and all of his coworkers and customers who were so dear to him.

The family wishes to thank all who have reached out with condolences, prayers and memories thus far. He will truly be missed as precious memories will fill our every moment until all are reunited in Heaven.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, VA. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in Todd’s Memory in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, VA with Pastors Lee Sarver and Eddie Kendall officiating. In Todd’s honor and in respect to his family, we ask that Covid-19 precautions be observed during all services.
