Monk, Dennis Reed

Dennis Reed Monk, age 67, passed on to his heavenly home on June 4, 2022. He was a resident of the world but frequented the Southwest Virginia area. He was preceded in death by his father, William Monk and mother, Amelia Reed Munson.

He is survived by his siblings, Britt, Debra, Brenda, and Billie Gail and nephews, Nicholas and Michael Minovich.

Dennis worked as a handyman doing drywall finishing, painting, and repairman. He was also an antique dealer in Morristown, TN as well as Radford, Christiansburg, and Blacksburg, VA.

He touched many lives with his knowledge and wonderful sense of humor. There will be a private Celebration of Dennis’s Life. If you knew him, please celebrate with a game of pool or by appreciating a piece of history.
