Mohler, Oswald B. “Oz”

Oswald B. “Oz” Mohler, 77 of Peterstown, died Friday, November 25, 2016, at his home. He was born April 12, 1939 at Salt Sulphur, WV and was the son of the late William D. and Mary L. Bare Mohler.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of the Peterstown United Methodist Church. Formerly served as a service tech for Pitney Bowes. He formerly attended Draper United Methodist Church at Draper, Va., Assistant Boy Scout Leader, actively involved with the Girl Scouts of America in Draper, Va, taught Sunday School, was involved with the Youth of the Church and loved hunting.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Mohler. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Reta E. Campbell Mohler, Two daughters; Angie Hazelwood and husband Gordy of Lindside, WV and Pamela Mohler of Roanoke, Va. One brother; William E. Mohler and wife Lena of Salt Sulphur, WV. Two sisters; Bonnie Morgan and husband Kermit and Betty Morgan and husband Mark all Ronceverte, WV. Sister-in-law; Sharon Mohler of Union, WV.. Three Grandchildren; Alex Cecil of Roanoke, Va., Ethan Hazelwood and fiancé Kaylee Meadows and Samantha Hazelwood and fiancé Anthony Penna all of Morgantown, WV. Also special caregivers; Sherie Widdoes and Donna Collins.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Peterstown United Methodist Church with Dr. John Sauvage and Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Orchard Cemetery, Ballard, WV.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday, November 28, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior to service at the church.
