Moede, Shirley Moore

Shirley Moore Moede, age 63, of Blacksburg died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born on June 28, 1951 to the late Woodrow Wilson and Ruth Lovern Moore and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Ann Moore Stimpson and Brenda Lee Moore. Shirley retired from Va Tech in the library with thirty plus years of service. She is survived by two sons Jesse Ray Moore and companion John Allen of Radford, Woodrow “Woody” Moore and his wife, Marcy of Blacksburg; brother-in-law, Johnny Stimpson of Blacksburg; cousin “sister”, Connie Ratcliffe of Christiansburg. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg with the Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
