Moberg, Sydnor Hutcheson

Sydnor “Syd” Hutcheson Moberg, 89, of Harrisonburg, VA, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her first husband, the Reverend Jesse R. Hutcheson of Blacksburg, VA.

Left to mourn her loss are her husband, Albert J. Moberg of Harrisonburg, one son, David C. Hutcheson of Shawsville, VA, one daughter, Nancy P Hutcheson of Virginia Beach VA, and one grandson, Jesse A. Hutcheson of Newport News, VA. Syd is also beloved by her step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 1:00 pm in the Sunnyside Chapel, 3935 Sunnyside Dr., Harrisonburg, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Albert and Sydnor Moberg Endowed Scholarship at Christopher Newport University, 1 Avenue of the Arts, Newport News VA 23606.” Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
