Mitchell, Roy T.

Lt. Col. Roy T. Mitchell, USAF -Ret., of Falls Church, Va. and formerly of Pulaski, died on June 27, 2007.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary J. Mitchell; two sons, Colin Jack Mitchell (Patricia) and Howard Bartlett Mitchell (Laura); one daughter, Susan Mitchell Carter (Dennis); three grandchildren; and a sister, Faith Mitchell Anderson.

A memorial service was held on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Dulin United Methodist Church, 513 E. Broad St., Falls Church, Va. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Masonic Home, 4101 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, Va. 23223 or Dulin United Methodist Church Building Fund, 513 E. Broad St., Falls Church, Va. 22046.
