Mitchell, Ralph Lee

Ralph Lee Mitchell, age 59, of Radford, VA, and formerly of Rich Creek, VA, passed away on May 8, 2019, at his home due to medical complications. Born August 31, 1959, in Pearisburg, VA, he was the son of the late Raymond Cecil and Aretta Wade Mitchell.

Ralph was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and later worked in construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Mitchell; one sister, Betty Jean Mitchell; and father-in-law, Robert Page.

Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Rita Page Mitchell of the home; one daughter, Christina Nicole Mitchell of Rich Creek, VA; mother-in-law, Virgie Page of the home; one sister, Melissa Mitchell of Radford, VA; one sister-in-law, Rachel Mitchell of Dublin; two nieces, Samantha Mitchell and Lynn Dishon (Dusty); two nephews, Kyle Mitchell (Jamie) and Dustin Bain (Jocelyn); two great nieces, Harley and Kinsley; and two great nephews, Davin and Owen.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV.
