Mitchell, Margaret Louise Beckner

Margaret Louise Beckner Mitchell, 83, of Pulaski, departed this life on Monday, April 8, 2013. Margaret was born November 15, 1929, in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Jabez Martin Beckner and Sadie Lee Vipperman Beckner. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Mitchell; and brothers, Leroy, Earnest, Dewey and Ray Beckner. She is survived by sisters, Kathleen Giles and Betty Goad and her husband, Billy; and brothers, George, Harry Lee, and Paul Becker and his wife, Pat. Margaret was a loving and caring mother of five children, Cynthia Osborne and her husband, Boyd, Michael Mitchell and his wife, Debby, Harold Mitchell and his wife, Karen, Ken Mitchell and his wife, Missy, and Rickey Mitchell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Margaret was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be missed greatly. Visitation will be at the Family Worship Center, Memorial Drive in Pulaski, Virginia starting at 5 p.m. Thursday April 11, 2013, funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday April 12, 2013, at the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
