Mitchell, Dorothy Burgess

She is survived by her brother-in-law and wife, Kevin and Carole Mitchell; and sisters-in-law, Melva Stultz and Lydia Burgess. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday one hour before service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, 3883 Alum Ridge Road, Floyd, Va. There will no visitation at the funeral home.
