Minson Sr., Don

Don Minson, Sr., 66, passed away peacefully in the company of his family on Tuesday morning, Sept. 11, 2007 from surgical complications following a protracted battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by: his wife Winnie; son, Don Jr.; daughter Jodi, son-in-law Mark Beckner; grandchildren Eleisha, Ryan, Tyler and Makayla, and great-grandchild Camryn; he is also survived by four sisters, Colleen, June, Linda, Bonnie, and two brothers Sonny and Jimmy.

He was recently retired from nearly 20 years of employment with Wolverine as an electrician.

A memorial service was held at Floyd Baptist Church at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 15.
