Minnick, Lois Helen

Lois Helen Minnick, 87, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at her home. She was born in Charlottesville, Va. on August 3, 1927. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kendall Allen Minnick, Sr. and her father, Edgar H. Bryant.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Kendall Allen, Jr. and Melanie Minnick, James Lee and Debbie Minnick, all of Christiansburg; sisters-in-law, Nelda Marie Graves, of Longshop, Evelyn Jeanette Duncan, of Bassett; grandchildren, Steven and wife, Amanda Minnick, A.J. Minnick, Austin Minnick; great-grandchild, Bryant Gibson Minnick; two special nieces, Scarlett Hamberg and Jasmine Dolinger; two special sisters, Mida Stanger and Joy Proco.

The family would like to thank her caregivers, a special thanks to Tina for all the loving care that you provided for Mrs. Lois.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in the Belmont Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
