MILTON, James E.

James E. Milton, 69, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Blacksburg, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2006.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Sherman; and one daughter, Renee Sherman of Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; stepmother, Hazel Choate; two brothers, Kenneth Sherman of Radford, Va., Larry Sherman of Blacksburg, Va.; one sister, Teresa Brown of Blacksburg, Va. A special and devoted friend, Grace Diggs of Suitland, Md.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 12 noon in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, 150 Country Club Drive, S.W., Blacksburg.
