Mills, Alta Gravley

Alta Gravley Mills, 84, of Parrott, Va., passed away on April 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Mills.

Alta enjoyed life and will be missed by nephews and wives, Bryant and Phyllis Gravley, Roger and Angie Gravley, J.W. and Meleta Gravley, Jesse and Phyllis Semones, Arnold and Lucille Duncan, and Edmond Lowe; nieces and husbands, Carol and Marshall Page, Dorothy and Walter Bain, and Ruth and Buck Bain; and special friends, Dean and Laurie McCoy.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parrott Church of God. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010, at the Parrott Church of God with the Reverend Eddie Dalton and the Reverend James Gholson officiating. Interment will follow at WestView Cemetery in Radford, Va.
