Jonathan Cephas Millirons, 97, of Pulaski, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling arrangements for the family.

Born April 1909 in the Max Meadows area of Wythe he was the son of the late Hugh Millirons and Rebecca Raines Millirons He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Delsie Hughes Millirons, in 1997.

He attended the Hilltop Pentecostal Holiness He was a World War II DDay survivor and Purple Heart recipient. He was honored by having his street named after him (Millirons Lane) as a result of his decorated service to his country. He was retired from Pulaski Furniture Corporation with 25 years of service

Surviving are his son and Clifford Cliff and Kathy Draper Daisy Dublin half Donnie Natural Bridge several nieces and Survived by Mamie and Ethel Rustick, Lizzie Harlow, Frank Millirons and Clarence Millirons, and a step Mae Lambert.

The funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 11 at Bower Funeral Pulaski with Pastor Roger Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Thornspring Pulaski with full military honors conducted at the graveside by the Pulaski VFW Post 1184

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 at Bower Funeral The family will be meeting at the home of Cliff and Kathy Millirons, 2768 Wysor, in Draper.
