Miller, Stanley Wallace

Stanley Wallace Miller, 67, of Pembroke, Va., departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Heritage Hall Health Care in Blacksburg. He was born on July 14, 1942, a son of the late James Walter and Martha Margaret Smith Miller.

He had earned a Bachelors Degree, taught school, and was proud to have published one of his books.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jo Ann Armbrister Miller; his daughter, Alison McLeod; two granddaughters, of Bisbee, Ariz.; his sister, Eleanor Pletta, of Seneca, S.C.; her brothers, Michael Miller, of Pembroke, and Stephen Miller, of Powhatan; a cousin, John Miller, of Lawrenceville; an aunt, Louise Robinson, of Rich Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
