Miller, Pauline Robinson

Pauline Fay Robinson Miller, 81, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at Kroontje Health Care Center. She was born in Blacksburg, Va., on January 13, 1929, to the late Grover Cleveland and America Compton Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Perry “Pete” Miller.

She was a lifetime member of the Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church on Giles Road. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and a devoted Christian.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn M. Stanford, of Christiansburg, Sharon M. and Bob Priest, and Bonnie M. and Melvin Caudle, all of Blacksburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and former wife, Pam Miller, of Blacksburg, John and Donna Miller, of Christiansburg, and Glenn and Debbie Miller, of Blacksburg; a sister, Betty Waldron; a brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Elizabeth Robinson, all of Blacksburg; 11 grandchildren, Erika Perdue, Amy Stanford, Brooke Priest, Gola Caudle, James Caudle, Kevin Poole and wife, Jennifer, Carrie Miller, Brandon Miller, Tracie Hardy and husband, Jason, Jamie Allen and husband, Blair, and Bryan Miller; five greatgrandchildren, Reagan Poole, Samantha Poole, Tristan Hall, Karlie Hall, and Jackson Poole; brother-in-law and sistersin-law, Ralph and Joann Miller, and Jane Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011, in the Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church, Giles Road with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the Blacksburg First Wesleyan Church, 1406 Giles Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24060.

The family, especially Wayne Miller, wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Kroontje Health Care Center for their loving care of their mother.
