Miller, Grace Hutchison Ferrell

Grace Dexter Hutchison Ferrell Miller, 95, of Christiansburg and formally of Craig Co., Va., passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Richfield Recovery and Care Center.

She was born in Craig Co., Va., on June 15, 1912, to the late Grover Mason and Rebecca Clementine Stebar Hutchison. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Ferrell; her second husband, Tillman Miller; two brothers, Arnold Hutchison and Giles Hutchison; and one sister, Dessie Gladys Baden.

She is survived by three daughters, Lucille Spangler and husband, Curtis, Nora Bell and husband, Eddie, and Betty Stanger and husband, Joe; a sister, Clara Walker, of Union, W.Va.; a brother, Carper Hutchison and sister-in-law, Lavern, of Lancaster, Pa.; six grandchildren, Debbie Cregger, Steve Spangler, Greg Spangler, Kathy Burroughs, Diane Vermillion, and Mark Bell; six great-grandchildren, Brittney, Amber, Brandon, Adam, Taylor, and Thomas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Ernestine Keffer and her husband, Roy, of Newport, Va.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Bayne officiating. Interment will follow in Clover Hollow Cemetery, Newport, Va.
