Miller, Dennis Wayne

Dennis Wayne Miller, age 56, of Blacksburg, Virginia, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Lewis Gale Montgomery General Hospital. He was born in Wise, Virginia on June 19, 1956 to the late Eddie and Zetta Dotson Miller. Dennis was also a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Johnston, of Blacksburg, Virginia. His sons, Daine Hopkins, and wife Marcee of Kingsport, Tennessee; Daniel Hopkins, and wife Tassy of Newport, Tennessee; and son Travis, of Blacksburg, Virginia. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Ray Miller and wife Judy, of Norton, Virginia; Nancy Carol Miller Chapman, of Nolan, West Virginia; Mona Faye Miller Elkins and husband Freddie, of Wise, Virginia; Eddie Sue Miller Krisick and husband Steven, of Richmond, Virginia; Kathy Elizabeth Miller Allen and husband Jim, of Seattle, Washington; and Rebecca Lynn Miller Stapleton, of Wise, Virginia. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Connor Price, Justin Johnston, Allie Miller, Gavin Miller, Brayden Hopkins, Matthew Hopkins, Nathan Hopkins and Kyndal Hopkins.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 5:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Daine Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
