Miller, Carla Ruth

Carla Ruth Miller, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at her home in Peterstown, WV. Born January 26, 1956, in Pearisburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Obretta Thompson Faris.

Carla worked as a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of the Ballard Baptist Church and a beloved mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Donita Spangler and Tammie Delgado. Survivors include her loving husband of 16 years, Haven Miller; one son, Chris Via and wife Angie of Rich Creek, VA; one daughter, Angela Rogers and husband Phil of FL; four step children, Marlana Miller, Justin Miller, Tessa Payne, and Paden Miller, all of Peterstown, WV; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service and a time of fellowship with family and friends will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV.
