Miller, Bruno Paul

Bruno Paul Miller, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2010. He was born in Kassel, Germany on June 24, 1954. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth U. Miller; and brother, Ronald J. Miller. He was a selfemployed painter and also served in the United States Navy. Bruno is survived by his children, Lori A. Miller, of Elliston, Va., Shana L. Stanley and husband, Patrick, of Elliston, Va., Elizabeth Bradshaw and husband, Mike, of Elliston, Va., James W. Miller II, of Christiansburg, Va., Matthew R. Miller, of Christiansburg, Va., and Derrick Hensley, of Roanoke, Va.; his father, James W. Miller, of Roanoke, Va.; sister, Donna L. Miller, of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren, Cheyenne Towns, Zachary Towns, Halley Stanley, Madison Stanley, Kaelynn Mabe, Michelle Bradshaw, and John Bradshaw; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friends, JoAnn Linkous, Gary Wimmer Sr., Gary Wimmer Jr., Carole Putnam, Dreama Miller and Michelle Shrewsbury. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 19, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jube Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
