Miller, Allen McClanahan

Allen M. Miller, 99, formerly of Radford, Va., and Shepherdsville, Ky., passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Sutphin Miller; brother, David Miller, of Ellicott City, Md.; sister, Mary Ellis, of Shepherdsville, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

He was a charter member and elder of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church, retired from Norfolk & Western, was a World War II veteran, and was a 64 year Mason.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, from DeVilbiss Funeral Home with the Reverend Terry Woodard officiating. Interment will follow at the WestView Cemetery. Masonic Graveside Service will be held by Virginia Mae Lodge #38 AF & AM. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. and also from 11 a.m. on Wednesday until the start of service.
