Milam, Peggy Edmonds Duncan

Peggy Edmonds Duncan Milam, 69, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

She was born in North Carolina September 22, 1938. She was a lifelong resident of Pulaski County and recently moved to Christiansburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Beulah Mashburn, her husband, Roger Lee Milam, and four children, Helen Duncan, Wayne Duncan, Sharon Duncan and Victoria Duncan Farmer.

She is survived by four children, Elizabeth Vincent, Simon Duncan, Carl Duncan, and Victoria Elizabeth Tabor; one sister, Thursa McMillin; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 22, 2008 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Service. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday January 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Horne Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Pulaski. Arrangements are being handled by Horne Funeral Service Christiansburg, VA.
