Midkiff, Tommy Lee

Tommy Lee Midkiff, 66, entered his heavenly reward on Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born April 5, 1954 to the late Newton Junior Midkiff, Sr. and Lucy Kate Warden Midkiff and was also preceded in death by he love of his life, his wife, Debra Jean Collins Midkiff, a special sister Francis Marie Midkiff, sister, Dallas Mae Clowers and brother, John Midkiff.

He loved working outside, and taking care of the Warden home grounds and cemetery in Dismal, VA.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Travis Midkiff of Narrows, VA, Mary Ann Furrow and husband Jeff Furrow of Staffordsville, Jarrod Midkiff of Staffordsville, and Matthew Midkiff and his wife Taylor Midkiff of Sugar Run, and two granddaughters, Adriana Horton and Paisley Midkiff. He is also survived by his sisters and brother-in-law Laura “Jane” Cook, Hallie “Polly” Johnson and Wendell Johnson, Elizabeth “Libby” Carver, and Gladys McCauley, brothers and sisters-in-law Jimmy Midkiff and Barbara Midkiff, Richard “Ricky” and Drema Midkiff, Joe and Wilma Midkiff, Newton “Junior” Midkiff Jr. and Mae Bell Midkiff, Elgin and Anna Midkiff, and Jessie “Sonny” Midkiff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, too numerous to list.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the Warden Family Cemetery with Charles Henderson officiating.
