Merrill, Bruce Allen

Bud Merrill, age 51, of Floyd, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, Friday, March 18, 2022. He was born in Boston, MA on July 15, 1970. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Johnson Merrill; sister, Dee Dee Keen; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alma and Dexter Davis.

Bud sold cars for Duncan Automotive Network. Bud was well known for his quick wit, knowledge of all things, and his selflessness and love that he poured onto anyone that met him.

Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are his wife, Ann Merrill; daughter and son-in-law, Liz and Rocky Catron; adoring grandchildren and the lights of his life, Ben and Alex Catron; nephew and adopted son, Jordy Bishop; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Doug Muncy; special nieces and nephews, Deanna Farley (Little Wren), Dereck Merrill, Kimberly Moore, Barbara Cameron, Grace Cameron; brothers, Bryce, Brandon, Bryden, and Brett Merrill and their mother, Cissy Merrill; several other nieces and nephews; many friends within the community including his Duncan Honda family; special friend whom Bud loved as a sister, Dulinda Bender.

The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
