amem_fishinghole.jpgMelvin Monroe Medley, 66, of Pulaski, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at his home. He was born in Newport, Virginia on May 9, 1940 to the late Roy and Blanche Greenway Medley and also preceded in death by his wife, Earlene Fautz.

He is survived by his two stepdaughters, Lisa Dunagan and Sheila Fautz, both of Pulaski; one son-in-law, Gary Martin, of Pulaski, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Joe Williams, of Pembroke, Frances Huffman, of Craig County, Pauline and Billy Myers, of John’s Creek; two brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Jean Medley, of South Boston, Doug Medley, of West Virginia; four grandchildren, Travis Martin, Justin Martin, Melissa Dunagan, and Ryan Dunagan, all of Pulaski.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. James O. Flaugher officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery Pulaski. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Wednesday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW., Blacksburg, Va.
