Joyce Kanode Medley, age 71, of Blacksburg died, Monday, January 1, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Harold Medley; sons and daughter-in-law, Dale (Rhonda) Martin, James Martin; granddaughters, Cortney and Ellie Martin; stepdaughters, Tammy Medley (Dianna), Angela Kendall (Amanda); step-grandchildren, Alisha, Alex, Aaron, Andrew; step-great-grandchildren, Aria, Phoebe; special friends, Joe and Loretta Underwood, Rev. Everett and Darlene Shepherd.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in the Belmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Friday at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, VA.
