Meadows, Charles Lewies

Charles Lewies Meadows, 66, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Heritage Hall. He was born in Rich Creek, Va., on June 8, 1943, to the late Everette Hasert and Leona Archer Meadows.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn L. Meadows; and a sister, Eleanor Mae Hall. He is survived by his son, Charles Lewies Meadows II, of Blacksburg; three daughters, Amy, Tina and Melissa; sister and brotherin-law, Lucille and Marlin Lambert, of Elgood, W.Va.; brother, Everette A. Meadows, of Blacksburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jeff and Angie Patterson.

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2009, in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Reggie Tuck and the Rev. B. Lloyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, September 3, 2009, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg, Va.
