Meador, Makayla Joann

Makayla Joann Meador, infant daughter of Jeffrey S. II and Samantha L. Meador, of Floyd, Va., went to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at New River Valley Medical Center.

She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Maria and Ervin Richards Jr., of Whiting, Ind.; paternal grandparents, Debra A. and Orlando Lozano, of Floyd, and Jeffrey and Angela Meador, of Roanoke; maternal greatgrandparents, Betty DiGiacomo, of Calumet City, Ill., and Shirley and Ervin Richards Sr., of Whiting, Ind.; paternal great-grandparents, Arbie Lee Tickle, of Roanoke, and Russell and JoAnne Meador, of Vinton; uncles and aunts, Robert Meador and Cassie Barton, of Floyd, Conner Eugene Meador, of Roanoke, Jason Emerson, of Whiting, Ind., and Lucas Richards, of Whiting, Ind.; and a very special cousin, Kaylee Jane Meador, of Floyd.

Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in the Roselawn Mausoleum Chapel with Mr. Larry Sisk officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 18, 2010, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg, Va.
