McPeak, Violet May Hanks

Violet May Hanks McPeak, 97, of Radford, Va., passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Louise Wilson and a son, Frog McPeak.

Survivors include two daughters, Bobby Jean Jewell and husband, Jerry, of New River and Mary Burleson, of Pembroke; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 11 greatgreatgrandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Radford Rehab Center and Dr. Mickael Conatser for all of their support. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009, at 7 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. James Walker officiating.
