McNew, Glenn David

Glenn David McNew, age 75 of Dublin, died Sunday, December 25,2016 at New River Valley Medical Center. David was born December 9, 1941 in Pulaski, Va. and was the son of the late Della Irene Poole McNew Edwards and Maynard Bruce McNew.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of the V.F.W., the Dublin Moose Lodge# 2360, was a graduate of Pulaski High School, and retired from general contracting work.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters: Gladys Lyons, Cozene Martin and Sharon Reed. He is survived by two sons Michael and Marty McNew of Texas: two brothers Hensel McNew and wife Pauline of Dublin, Denny Edwards and wife Charlene of Knoxville, Tennessee. Sisters; Betty M. Farmer and husband Frank of Dublin, Sandra Armbreuster and husband Terry of Ohio, and Dorothy Weller of Dublin. David is also survived by many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:00 pm. at Seagle Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Gore officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with military honors.
