Norman Lee McNabb, 71, of Christiansburg, passed away August 4, 2006.

Mr. McNabb was the son of the late Luther and Florance McNabb. A member of Belmont Christian Church, he was active in the over 50 ministries and he served his country for 42 years as a member of the armed forces and the civil service. He was president of Local Chapter of National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (N.A.R.F.E.) and a volunteer with the Montgomery County Museum.

Mr. McNabb is survived by his wife, Judy B. McNabb; sons and daughters-in-law, Walter L. and Tina McNabb, of Telford, Penn., Troy L. and Belinda McNabb, of Pasco, Wash., Christopher L. and Jacqueline McNabb, of Blacksburg, Va., Shawn L. and Beverly McNabb, of Spotsylvania, Va.; eleven grandchildren, Neil, Jeffery, Stephen, Onyx, Lindsley, Gavin, Garrett, Amber, Ian, Ghraesyn, and Bethany; sister and brother-in-law, Evalene and Roger Bare of Laurel, Montana.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at the Belmont Christian Church on Dominion Dr., Christiansburg. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2006 at the church with Pastor Jim Bayne officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery with full Military Honors given by VFW Post 1184, Pulaski, Va.
