McMullen, Annie Mae

Annie Mae McMullen, 88, of Pembroke, departed this life Tuesday morning, August 27, 2013, in the care of Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek. Born in Giles County on March 28, 1925 she was the youngest and last surviving child of Dan and Bertha Sanders Martin. She was a Christian and a member of the Pembroke Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Giles Bailey and Harry McMullen, and several brothers and sisters. Annie Mae leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Wanda and Coy Carter of Olean Road, Ripplemead and a grandson Justin Carter of Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. Burial will follow in the Fillinger Cemetery at Pembroke.
