McKenzie, Charles Garland

Charles Garland McKenzie, 56, of Christiansburg, Va., died on Monday, November 5, 2007 at his home.

He was born in Richmond, Va. on June 7, 1951 to the late Raymond and Jeannein McKenzie. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Winters McKenzie of Christiansburg; daughters and son-in-law, Christy and Troy Boatwright and Elizabeth McKenzie; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Krystal McKenzie, Bradley McKenzie, James and Lindsey McKenzie and Christopher and Jona McKenzie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene and Murriel Gallien and Vicky and Larry Stone; three granddaughters; two grandsons; and his dog, Moe.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Snider officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call anytime after 12 noon on Thursday, November 8, 2007 and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W., Blacksburg, Va.
