Terri Leigh McGuire, 53, of Elliston, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank William Akers and Lora Elizabeth Akers. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Kent McGuire; two sons, Matthew McGuire and wife, Katie and Daniel McGuire; loving Dachshund, Precious; sister, Rosemary Ratcliff and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Gary Akers and wife, Debbie and Todd Akers and wife, Donna; as well as many friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 10, 2011, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will directly follow at 7 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Rogers officiating.
