McGuire, Ray Eldred

Ray Eldred McGuire, 71, of Willis, passed away Sunday January 27, 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Christine McGuire, Willis; son, Curtis McGuire and fiance, Shelia Hedrick, Willis; grandson, Dustin McGuire, Willis; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Joyce McGuire, Christiansburg; sister, Virginia Hodge, Christiansburg; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Trixie.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Randy Lilly and the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment will follow at Duncans Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at Maberry Funeral Home, where the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Floyd Lions Club, c/o Frank Cash, Treasurer, 1076 Christiansburg Pike NE, Floyd, VA 24091.
