McGuire, Eugene Clyde

Eugene Clyde McGuire, 67, of Christiansburg, went to be with his Savior on Monday, August 13,2012. He was preceded in death by his precious wife, Linda; his infant son; parents, Paul and Betty McGuire; brothers, Billy and Marvin McGuire. Survived by brothers, Melvin (Rosemary), Ralph (Maryann), and Danny (Debbie) McGuire; sisters, Mary (Robert) Linkous, Christine (C. P.) Harrell and Lilly Boyd; special in-laws Mildred Harmon; daughters, Charolette and Faye Harmon; and special nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to thank the staff at Highland Ridge Rehab in Dublin, and also Eugene’s special nurse, Kasey Sutherland, for all their kindness during his illness. We would also like to thank everyone for their prayers, love and support. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2012, at New Hope Church Of God with Pastor T. Michael Bond & C. P Harrell Jr. officiating. Internment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday August 15 2012, at New Hope Church Of God in Christiansburg.
