McGrady, David D.

David D. McGrady, 79, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011. He was born on October 15, 1931, in Floyd, Va., to the late Ebb McGrady and Millie Burnett McGrady.

He served his country in the United States Army and was employed by the Lynchburg Foundry.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy R. McGrady; sisters, Norma Marshall and Stella Sowers; brothers, Martin McGrady and Columbus McGrady; and many other family members as well as friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23, 2011, from 9 until 11 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2011, in the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with the Reverend Kevin Poston officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
