McGee, Doris Rose

On Sunday, July 4th, 2021 Doris Rose Mcgee, mother to Thomas M and Robert G McGee passed away at the age of 85. She leaves behind five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Doris was born in Jamaica NY and had a doctorate from Hofstra University. She and her husband George moved to Floyd County in 1995. Doris was an avid painter and quilter, belonged to the Floyd Homemakers and FineHearts. She was truly loved and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
