McDaniel, Shirley Meadows

Shirley Avis Meadows McDaniel, 88, of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg.

Mrs. McDaniel was born on May 4, 1933, in Narrows and was a daughter of the late Earl Franklin Meadows, Sr. and Mamie Chandler McDaniel.

Shirley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Narrows.  She loved to go to the Giles Senior Center and work puzzles.

According to Shirley’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held.  The family is being served by Givens – Riffe Funeral Service in Narrows, (540) 726-2442, and online at riffefuneralservice.com.
