McDaniel, Robert Hite

Robert Hite (Bobby) McDaniel, 57, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008, at his home in Dublin. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman who had several big game prize trophies in his home.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie H. Price, of Radford; his father, Sam E. McDaniel, of Radford; a brother, Donald “Dee” McDaniel, of Radford; a half brother, Rodney McDaniel, of Richmond; a half sister, Rhonda McDaniel, of Christiansburg; two stepsisters, Deena Harris and Gina Wright, both of Radford.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Central United Methodist Church in Radford with the Rev. Ric Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Central United Methodist Church Building Fund, 803 Wadsworth St., Radford, Va. 24141.
