McDaniel, Garland Rosi Gale

Garland Rosi Gale McDaniel, 53, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at his home in Radford, Va. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and employed at the RAAP. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland Hale and Mary Ruby Medley McDaniel. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Thomas McDaniel, of Radford; two sons and daughter-in-law, James and Kelly McDaniel, of Dublin, and John McDaniel, of Radford; daughter, Mary Lynn McDaniel, of Radford; grandson, Patrick Marchbanks; brother and sister-in-law Delbert and Evangeline McDaniel, of Dublin; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Robert Pack, and Cosbie and Ray Bishop, all of Christiansburg. The family would like to thank special friends, Pam and Cindy, of Carilion Hospice. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at the funeral home.
