McCroskey, Herman Junior

Herman Junior McCroskey, 81, of Monroe St., Pearisburg, departed this life Friday, January 18, 2013 at Lewis-Gale Pulaski Hospital in Pulaski. He was born in Giles County on June 8, 1931 was retired from RAAP and had worked a Leas-McVitty Tannery at Bluff City. He was a veteran of the United States Army, Korean Conflict. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary M. McCroskey; his son and daughter-in-law, James G. (Jimmie) and Rhonda Lawson McCroskey of Narrows, and his granddaughter, Camry E. McCroskey of Narrows. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 6 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours before the services. Burial will be private in the McCroskey Cemetery at Interior in Giles County.
