Ettie Ribble Shealor McCoy, age 92, of Blacksburg died, Friday, January 2, 2015, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. She was born in Blacksburg, Va. on July 7, 1922 to the late Fred and Beaulah Irene Allen Shealor.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Anderson Reed and her second husband, Norman William “Mac” McCoy, Sr., three sisters, Alice Martin, Fannie Criner, Frances Williams, brother, Freddie Shealor.

Ettie was a member of the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church and a member of the Eastern Star Ingle Chapter Lodge #190. Ettie retired from the Va. Tech Printing Dept. with 45 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Elizabeth and Larry Collins, of Elliston, step-daughters, Mindy Harman and Susan Nichols, brother and sister-in-law, Emmette Dwayne and Bonnie Shealor, Blacksburg, brother-in-law, J.A. McCoy, of Hershey, Pa., grandchildren, Donald Robert Hodge, Larry Wayne Collins II, Lindsey Breeze Underwood, great-grandchildren, Olivia Hodge, Ashton Hodge, Kenneth Wayne Collins, Elizabeth Marie Nicole Underwood.

Special thanks to Alysia and Debra Shrewberry for the wonderful care to Ettie during her illness and to her special grandson Bobby for his loving care.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley “Shake” Smith, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg.

The family will receive friends from 9-11:00 am prior to the service at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
