McCoy, Alta Joyce

Alta Joyce McCoy, 76, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at her home in Dublin. She was a United States Army veteran, and was preceded in death by her husband, Max Myer McCoy.

Survivors include her son, Scott McCoy, of Dublin; daughters, Lois Kanode, of Pulaski, Charlene Snyder, of South Point, Ohio, Dawn Oliver, of Pulaski, Teresa Fredrick, of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Maureen Deter, of Rifle, Colo., and Kathleen Walters, of Avondale, Ariz.; sisters, Betty and Carol Ann; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 2 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at the Proclamation PCA Church, 975 Memorial Drive, Pulaski. The McCoy family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford. www.mullinsfuneralhome.com.
