McConnell, Sherilyn Viedt

Sherilyn V. “Sheri” McConnell, 69, of Christiansburg went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 8, 2017. She was preceded by her parents, Stuart and Winnie Viedt. Sheri was a former employee of Virginia Tech.

Surviving are her daughter, Leigh McConnell; son, Rick McConnell; grandchildren, Lauren, Makenzie, Meredith and Makayla McConnell; sister and brother-in-law, Roxanne and George Carkuff; and a niece, Colleen Conrad.

A celebration of Sheri’s life will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Mountaintop Mission Church 3005 Roanoke Street Christiansburg with the Rev. Randy VanDyke officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
